To legally recognize and provide a defined status for transgenders and follow up with various government departments for the same.
To provide social protection and integrate transgenders into the mainstream society.
To take measures to prevent the violation of human rights of transgenders.
To promote cultural development.
To organize transgenders for their development.

National Portal For Transgender Persons -https: transgender.dosje.gov.in Providing certificates and identity cards to transgender persons through the national portal
Identity Cards: Issuance of identity cards.
Educational and Financial Assistance: Providing assistance at all levels for education and financial support, including support to the parents of beneficiaries.
Counseling and Awareness: Providing family counseling with the help of NGOs and creating awareness in society to prevent children from being abandoned.
Crime Prevention: Sensitizing the police department to prevent crimes against transgenders and providing benefits as determined by the board from time to time. Protection of Transgender Welfare and Rights Board (State and Division level) and District Level Grievance Redressal Committee
