Main Objective of the Scheme:
To approve and implement development works suggested by public representatives for the urban and rural settlements/villages of Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities, and to define the implementation mechanism and other criteria under this scheme.
Key Conditions of the Scheme:
Proposals must be received with recommendations from current Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly, and all members and office bearers of local self-government bodies.
Benefits of the Scheme:
Providing infrastructure facilities such as water supply, sanitation, approach roads, internal roads, public toilets, drainage, community halls, libraries, development of crematoriums, gyms, rainwater drainage, study rooms, Dhamma centers, Vipassana centers, etc., in the settlements of Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities. (Each project is eligible for a grant ranging from ₹1.00 crore to ₹15.00 crore)
