Main Objective of the Scheme

To celebrate the birth anniversary of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj on June 26 every year as “Social Justice Day” to highlight his contributions towards the welfare of backward classes, disabled, elderly, destitute, and weaker sections of society.

Benefits of the Scheme

• ₹1.00 lakh for district-level programs
• ₹25,000 for taluka-level programs
• Distribution of benefits from the Social Justice Department’s schemes to beneficiaries on Social Justice Day
