Main Objective of the Scheme:

This scheme aims to improve the daily lives of senior citizens (65 years and above) by providing essential assistance for medical treatment, rehabilitation, and mental health facilities such as day-care centers, yoga centers, and counseling centers.

Key Features:

• The beneficiary must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
• The applicant must be at least 65 years old
• Applicants must submit proof of eligibility through a district officer’s certificate or a valid
  BPL ration card/National Social Assistance Program certificate/pension scheme proof.
• The beneficiary’s annual income must not exceed ₹2 lakh.
• The scheme is not applicable to beneficiaries already receiving free services from a government or government-recognized institution.

Financial Assistance

A one-time assistance of ₹3,000 is provided through direct bank transfer.

• Bank passbook with nationalized bank details
• Passport-size photos (2)
• Self-declaration
• Other documents as per government guidelines
