Development of Historical Sites on the Occasion of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar

Main Objective of the Scheme:

To develop sites associated with the life of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and other significant historical sites by granting them tourism status.

Key Conditions of the Scheme:

The site must be historical significance related to the life of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

Benefits of the Scheme:

Providing essential amenities such as water supply, sanitation, connecting roads, internal roads, drainage construction, electricity supply, street lights/solar lights, public well excavation and repair, community hall construction, repair and reconstruction of old community halls, libraries, computer centers, vocational training schools, gyms, small equipped auditoriums, training classes for women’s self-help groups, health camps, de-addiction and anti-superstition workshops, skill development training programs, leadership camps and skill development training for youth, anganwadi and balwadi facilities, modern facilities in crematoriums, electricity connections, water, gas connections, individual toilets, and public toilets if space for individual toilets is not available. (100% grant for approved work)
