Main Objective of the Scheme:
- To establish residential schools (public schools) for the children of parents engaged in sanitation work from the Mehter/Valmiki community.
Key Conditions of the Scheme:
- The parents of the beneficiaries must be engaged in sanitation work from the Mehter/Valmiki community.
Nature of Benefits:
- Under this scheme, students in residential schools receive free education along with accommodation and meals. They also receive uniforms, bedding, and writing materials.
