    Main Objective of the Scheme:

    • To enable students from backward classes to pursue college/higher education and reduce the dropout rate.

    Key Conditions of the Scheme:

    • The student should belong to Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist categories.
    • The annual income of the student’s parents should be Rs. 2.5 lakh or less.
    • The student should be pursuing post-secondary education and beyond.
    • The student should be a resident of Maharashtra.
    • Nature of Benefits:

      • Provision of maintenance allowance and tuition fees, examination fees, and other approved fees.
      • Maintenance allowance ranging from Rs. 250 to Rs. 700 per month.
      • For students residing in hostels, a maintenance allowance ranging from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1350 per month.
