- This scheme was initiated in the year 2004-05
Objective of the Scheme
- To bring Scheduled Caste communities into the mainstream of development through cooperation by providing self-employment opportunities to the unemployed in Scheduled Castes and fostering entrepreneurship.

Nature of the Project
- Power loom societies, knitting garments, yarn processing units, agricultural produce processing, cooperative sugar factories, khandsari factories, bio-coal printing presses, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only registered cooperative societies of Scheduled Castes are eligible to apply under this scheme.
Project Cost Limit
- The project cost limit is up to Rs. 7 crores.
- For the year 2025-26, the share capital of Rs. 125 crore and the loan of Rs. 120 crore is provisioned. By the year 2024-25, 507 cooperative societies have been benefited.
