Main Objective of the Scheme:

This scheme is implemented to provide technical education to Scheduled Caste students and offer them professional opportunities in various fields.

Key Conditions of the Scheme:

• The student must belong to Scheduled Castes or Neo-Buddhist categories.
• The student must be studying in a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
• The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 65,290.

Nature of Benefits:

• Students residing in the institute’s hostel who receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 60 from the Technical Education Department will receive an additional monthly stipend of Rs. 40 from the Social Welfare Department.
• Students who do not receive a stipend from the Technical Education Department will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 100 from the Social Welfare Department.
